Thursday Tip: Lengthen Those Lashes

A few weeks ago, my cousin Karen mentioned that my eyelashes looked much longer than they used to and asked me if I had started using one of those expensive treatments that help grow lashes. Of course, it made me absolutely thrilled that she noticed a difference, but I achieved these results exclusively with the help of two inexpensive drugstore products. As a follow-up to the post on some of my favorite eye make-up, I want to share how I use GUM soft picks and Vaseline to strengthen my eyelashes helping them to grow longer and appear fuller.
How To: After removing my makeup, I apply just a little Vaseline to my top and bottom lashes using either the soft picks or a clean mascara wand and let it soak in overnight. This conditions the lashes and really allows them to grow longer. I applied this every night and noticed results in about two weeks. It is really not that ‘icky’, and the results are definitely worth it. Oftentimes, I will also use the soft picks to separate and comb through my lashes after applying mascara. Works like a charm!
